The season premiere of Dancing With The Stars is Monday night… but has one of the contestants been rehearsing for months even though it’s against the rules?

According to Explore Talent News, Sherri Shepherd has been taking dancing lessons from Maksim Chmerkovskiy since December – months before the show started filming. According to DWTS rules, contestants are not allowed to rehearse until the first taping of the show. Sherri took some time to address these rumors on The View yesterday, she admits sh took some dance lessons from Maks, but says there was nothing wrong with that because she did so to lose weight… and that he isn’t her partner. Her partner is actually his brother Val.
